Dogs are permitted in most areas of the hotel including the bar and a select number of our rooms. We politely request that dogs are kept on leads at all times in public areas and are not left unattended at any time.

If you are planning to bring a dog, you must ensure that a Dog-Friendly Room has been booked prior to arrival.

Dog charges are £20 per dog, per stay. This charge is not included in the room rate and will be added as an additional cost on top of the accommodation rate. Dogs cannot be left unattended in bedrooms during your stay.

Included in this additional rate you will find our ‘Proper Dog’ hamper complete with tennis ball, Forthglade treats, biodegradable poo-bags for you to take away with you.

As we do accommodate dogs on site, guests with allergies or sensitivities are strongly advised to notify the hotel directly in advance of arrival. While we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment, we will always endeavour to meet individual requirements where possible.

To protect our beach and local wildlife, we don’t offer takeaway drinks, as we serve everything in glass. Enjoy your favourite tipple with us at the pub instead.

Yes, we offer outdoor seating so you can enjoy fresh air, great food and beautiful Hope Cove views. Perfect for sunny afternoons, relaxed evenings and seaside dining.

We show the big sporting moments, but we’re not a sports heavy pub as our busy beachside setting keeps us focused on service. Ask our team about any special events during your visit.

We offer ground floor access, but as our historic inn includes stairs to some rooms and areas, accessibility may vary. Please get in touch so we can advise the best options for your visit.
